Philly Rope Coven strives to create safe spaces for 2SLGBTQIA+ and BIPOC witches, goths, and all alternative weirdos with a love of rope bondage.
Our goal is to bring the goth and rope/kink communities together through munches, dance parties, rope jams, and intensives focusing on both rope and witchcraft.
We host monthly munches at Doom Bar as well as a rope jam/goth night dance party called Release the Bats every other month!
VETTING PROCESS:
• First off, Doom Bar Munch is the best chance to get vetted. Anyone can show up as long as you’re not banned from any other events. Newbies welcome! We host them monthly.
• Additionally, if you’re vetted for Corrupt Mind Productions, Marti Parti or House Blackfyre events, then you’re vetted for us.
• Our last option is to have a video chat via Zoom, Discord, Telegram or Instagram. This can be a bit difficult for us to schedule sometimes, as we have quite busy lives.

Hi! I'm Mariah (she/her) and I'm a certified yoga instructor, kink practitioner, and sex educator. I have developed and continue to refine my "rope yoga" classes, where I combine gentle partnered movement with simple shibari ties. This practice focuses on building a connection between the top and bottom, developing skills in communication with a partner, and opening the body to new sensations that can't be accessed through solo yoga practice alone. As a yoga instructor, I focus on letting gentle movement flow into greater bodily awareness and understanding by linking the mind and body together as one. I offer group classes in public spaces in Philadelphia, as well as private client sessions within the comfort of your own home.
