SHIBARI STUDIO BERLIN is a creative and intimate space founded in early 2024 by multidisciplinary artist Dan Carabas. At the heart of the studio are our Tantric-Shibari workshops — a unique blend of Shibari and Tantric practice designed to deepen connection, presence, and trust between romantic partners, playing with a strong sense of polarity and intimacy.
These guided sessions focus on presence, intention, and body awareness, offering a grounded approach to intimacy through ropes. In addition to our group workshops, Dan offers private tuitions and sessions in Shibari/Kinbaku with a focus on emotional connection.

Rope found me in 2016 and quickly became my fluent, wordless language for connection—rooted in the measured clarity of Aibunawa and the slow, relentless pulse of Semenawa. In a quiet Prenzlauer Berg studio you’ll find me surrounded by ropes, soft light, and a cosy space to explore. Sessions begin with tea, a talk about your boundaries and desires and end with aftercare and time to land before you come back to the city. Hello, my name is Lin and I offer a variety of experiences. My main focuses are shibari and erotic photography. My work is for anyone who wants to explore their sensuality and deepen their connection with their body through both sensual and artistic practices. In any type of session I offer I aim to create a calm, nurturing space where you feel safe to discover your desires and push your limits. Private sessions: For shibari and soft domination sessions we will start with an online call to discuss desires, boundaries and intentions. This allows me to craft the perfect tailored experience for you, whether you desire softness or intensity, to be held or to be broken. Some things that may be included in these sessions are partial or full suspension, meditation, sensory deprivation, impact play and verbal domination. Performance: I offer shibari performances for both private and public events. Some organisations I've worked with before include Soho House, Fiercely Fem and Rose Noir Theatre. Education: I offer beginner shibari workshops and private classes to those who are looking to start learning how to incorporate rope into their play, their practice or their relationships. You will learn the basic knots and techniques, but also how to move, connect and feel through rope. Photography: In my photography I enjoy focusing on the body as a work of art, sensuality and intimacy. I will ask you how you want to be seen by the world and make your vision real. I aim to create a safe space for you where you can express yourself fully and feel beautiful in doing so. Photography sessions can be for either singles or couples and can be combined with shibari as well.
