About Us - Why we founded Sensuali:

Sensuali was founded out of a real need from lived experience. Our founders noticed that sensual experiences tended to be found in corners of the internet that didn’t inspire safety, confidence or empowerment. We wanted to build a place where trustworthy practitioners could advertise their services alongside other industry professionals that they admire. A place where curious adults could come to broaden their sensual horizons, knowing that they’re in good hands.

Being sensual explorers ourselves, we decided that if nobody was going to do it for us, we’d better do it ourselves, and that’s how Sensuali was born.

We are still young. We are evolving constantly and learning as we go. The most important thing for us is to help people deepen their relationship with themselves and their sensuality through access to tools and practices that empower that relationship.

We are an international team. Based in NYC, Berlin, London, Ibiza and Paris. We know from these buzzing hubs of pleasure that there is an increasing demand for experiences and events that are safe and educational in the pleasure world.

Most of us grew up without any guidance in relationships and intimacy. At Sensuali we envision a world where pleasure, sensuality, and connection aren’t taboo, but celebrated, explored and practiced without shame.

Our core values are:

  • Safety
  • Enthusiastic consent
  • Inclusivity
  • Education
  • Joy
  • Playfulness
  • Pleasure without shame or guilt

We truly believe that changing the way we perceive sensuality and making it accessible to add will change the world, we hope you feel the same way!

Tara

Tara

General Manager

Deeply passionate about helping people (but women in particular) have better sex and more fulfilling relationships, Tara has been talking about sex on the internet via her own social media channels since 2017. She joined Sensuali as general manager to help realise Sensuali’s goals, which are to make sensual experiences more accessible and squash taboos around pleasure and sensuality.
Iso

Iso

Blog & Copy Writer

Iso is a writer and all round creative who loves everything to do with sex, the erotic, arts and beauty (especially the ugly kind). From a young age, she found the term ‘slut’ (i.e. having a cheerful sexual appetite and little care to suppress it) very strange. Now in her nomadic era but originating from a Northern UK seaside town, she is naturally drawn to the best things in life: candyfloss, trashy karaoke bars and heart-shaped sunglasses.
Pauline

Pauline

Community Manager

Pauline is a writer, performer, intimacy and kinks workshop facilitator, and experience creator based in Berlin. Passionate about breaking taboos, she invites people to explore their sexuality and intimacy with creativity and mindfulness. At Sensuali, she expands the community, develops partnerships in Berlin and beyond, and writes articles about exciting sensual experiences. She loves to indulge in a tantra massage or a Shibari suspension with Sensuali’s professionals.
April Maria

April Maria

Social media, Blog writer

April Maria is a qualified Sex Educator, Embodied Intimacy Coach, and a training Psychosexual and Relationships Therapist. Passionate about helping others navigate challenges in sex and relationships, she supports individuals in exploring their authentic selves and finding deeper fulfilment in their connections. She offers a safe, judgment-free space to guide people toward empowerment and joy in their sexual wellness journey. April is also a strong advocate for using social media as an educational platform, breaking down the taboos around sex and relationships. Through open and honest conversations, like we have on Sensuali, she helps normalise the thoughts, worries, and experiences that so many people share but often feel unable to discuss.
