Melissa Lumina — Guide in Erotic Embodiment & Intimate Awakening
I guide women to have authentic, more pleasurable, and fulfilling intimacy in their lives — intimacy that begins within and ripples into every connection they create.
For nearly a decade, I’ve been devoted to helping women reclaim the wisdom and power of their bodies. My work is a sanctuary for those ready to break free from shame, numbness, and disconnection — a space where the body’s desires are honored, pleasure becomes sacred, and intimacy is redefined as a pathway to wholeness.
I created SOMA Temple as a place of remembrance: a temple where women gather to awaken what has long been silenced, to rediscover their sensual nature, and to return home to themselves. Through somatic practices, sacred sexuality, and embodied education, I support women in exploring the full spectrum of their erotic nature — from tender self-love to wild, primal expression.
My approach weaves together modern sexological bodywork, psychology, and nervous system science with ancient rituals, feminine embodiment, and the forgotten arts of sacred sexuality. I believe the body is not a problem to fix but a portal to wisdom, power, and freedom. By cultivating a deeper relationship with your sensations, desires, and boundaries, you open the door to intimacy that feels real — intimacy that is rooted in choice, consent, and authentic expression.

The name was gifted to me from a friend who emphasized the hard work I was putting into my training after leaving an abusive relationship in 2017. Since then it has been a phrase that has guided my life, my work, and my purpose: weaving together the primal masculine and embodied feminine. Where many people see these as polarizing, my work builds a bridge between the two to support a life lived in harmony. I blend the softness of compassion with militant discipline. My nude art started as a way to heal my heart, soul, and body dysmorphia after leaving the previously mentioned relationship. I began with nude mirror work, and eventually took my camera, remote, and tripod out into the woods to make art and forest bathe. For almost a decade, I have created beautiful nude landscapes in the form of self portraits, and have also enjoyed modeling for Shibari shoots -- an art form that has been therapeutic for my journey.
