Heyy, My name is Aaron Lawrence and I am a body positive photographer and writer whose work focuses on capturing the beauty of human sexuality and intimacy amongst couples and individuals. My work is meant to inspire, uplift, arouse, and enlighten. years ago I began taking photos of individuals and couples because I wanted to change the way sexuality and the human body were seen in the eyes of society. As a teenager I was often angered by the way sex, sexuality, and men's and women's bodies were portrayed. The stereotypes and misogynistic tropes that filled adult films and most media created a desire inside of me to create visual content that showcased the true beauty and diversity of human bodies and the joys of sexuality. So, I began taking photos of real everyday people making love, having moments of pleasure, and existing in their skin because I felt strongly that that is what the world needed to see. I felt that if we were exposed to authentic moments of pleasure instead of staged ones then we could step away from the false ideals created from movies and magazines about how we should look, act, feel and think.
Now, my work focuses on helping people live their best life and walk fully in their truth. As a photographer and facilitator, I curate spaces for individuals and couples to show and express their bodies and sexualities in the ways they desire. This includes capturing people embracing their skin, having moments of solo pleasure, and being a witness and recorder of couples as they pleasure each other. Over the years, I’ve gained numerous skills in helping people feel comfortable, safe, and supported to express their most intimate sides while being captured. It has led me to building friendships and relationships that I deeply value and I cannot express the joy I get after showing individuals and couples their photos after a shoot and seeing the tears, smiles, and pure elation on their faces as they see themselves in ways they never thought possible.
Being able to be a witness to pure intimacy while capturing raw passionate sexuality is an honor that I truly cherish. I believe in my heart that we are all entitled to live a life that is full of pleasure and deserve to walk fully in our truest selves. My goal is to help every person I can do exactly that..
