Hi, I'm Makia Mullen. A Somatic Sexologist, Pelvic Health Specialist and Bodywoker. I offer a specialist, whole-person-centred approach to somatic and sexual wellness. My work is interdisciplinary, trauma-informed, and grounded in deep respect for the body’s intelligence and complexity. Every session is collaborative, ethical, and attuned. This work honours where you are, while gently supporting what’s ready to change, evolve and grow.
Why work with me . . .
I bring over 20 years of professional experience and 30,000 hours of hands-on clinical practice in the fields of integrative bodywork, pelvic care, somatic therapy, scar tissue remediation, and sexual wellness. My training spans many thousands of hours across a myriad of modalities, from bodywork and massage therapy to advanced pelvic care, somatic sexology and sexological bodywork. As well as somatic therapy, trauma integration and I am currently the only STREAM™ scar tissue remediation specialist in all of Ireland.
What makes my work unique . . .
Is how these disciplines are woven together into a holistically inclusive, somatically literate approach. One that addresses the body’s emotional, structural, energetic, and sexual layers. Sexuality is often left out of wellness, I see it as integral and essential to us thriving as WHOLE humans. Sexuality is part of how we relate to ourselves and others. How we heal, find joy, freedom and feel most alive in ourselves.

Skilled, attuned touch and care. Nuanced guidance and a space where the full complexity of us and our stories are welcome. Pain and trauma, yes of course, but also our pleasure, shame, desire, curiosity, and yearnings.
My practice is inclusive and gender-affirming, welcoming women, men, trans, and non-binary folks. I work with individuals, couples, ENM partnerships and polycules.
I offer in-person sessions from my studio in Dún Laoghaire, Dublin, Ireland and private retreats, immersions and sessions in Nevada City, California a few times per year.
