Saboohi - Shibari, Live Soundscape and Poetry Performance by Roja and JJ

Is pain the only rope we can grasp to descend into the deepest levels of our darkest shadows, or is it the vessel that holds us when we melt and surrender? Is pain the consequence of radical devotion, or is it the reward for vulnerability?

Or it might be a currency that we exhcnage for care as "Saboohi"- the morining wine to ease the pain of being drunk in Sufi terminology.

In this performnce Roja and JJ are going tp explore the connection between pain, care and trust through Shibari bondage, live Iranian traditonal soundsapces and Farsi sufi Poetry.

Join us to participate in alchemizing the sexual energy driven by rope, bondage, and suspension, while surfing on the waves of Iranian traditional Sufi soundscapes and poetry.
