Saghi - Shibari: Live Music and Poetry

What stops us from fully letting go of our insincere selves and completely surrendering to the free fall into oblivion, trusting that our unapologetically authentic selves will catch us?

In this performance, Roja and Jessa will experiment with how enhancing the emotional dialogue and power dynamics in a rope session through live music and Farsi Sufi poetry (as mantras of surrender) could potentially assist every soul involved in the session—the rigger, the model, and the audience—in celebrating the manifestations of their wildest desires through their darkest shadows and most vulnerable, unapologetically radical selves—also known as "Saghi," the eternal beloved who pours wine for you in Sufi terminology.

Join us to participate in alchemizing the sexual energy driven by rope, bondage, and suspension, while surfing on the waves of Iranian traditional Sufi music and poetry.
