Los Angeles–based writer and sensual artist GG Sauvage is the kind of woman who lives at full tilt. She’s an erotic writer for Cosmopolitan, a self-described ‘Sugar Goddess,’ and a creative force on a mission to strip shame from sex and replace it with empowerment, humour, and warmth.
Her Instagram bio dubs her the ‘West Coast Carrie Bradshaw’ – we think she’s every bit that and even more. With Moulin Rouge dreams and theatre roots, GG has become known for her candid writing on intimacy and her all-loving, creative, and unapologetically sexy online presence. In her words: nothing she does is by accident.

Can you describe yourself in 3 words?
Bold, Passionate, Caring
Tell us more about yourself and what you do…🦹♀️
I’m an erotic writer, namely for Cosmopolitan Magazine and an all-around sensual artist on a mission to f*ck shame away, replacing as much of it as possible with self-love and empowerment.
No matter what I do, everything I touch comes out with a bit of comedy (my roots!)

What services do you provide on Sensuali?
I’m available for good submissive mortals eager to worship and please a real-life Goddess; as well as for creative consultation in almost any artistic medium (music, food, touch, the list goes on.)
What turns you on?
My biggest turn on is vulnerability – honest answers to my insightful questions are always rewarded. Being praised without end doesn’t hurt either 😉
What was your journey into this world?
I sneakily saw the movie Moulin Rouge when I was young and wound up (essentially) becoming both main characters – you do the math.
Regarding sugaring, I’d had the fantasy of some sort of high-end sex work since I watched Secret Diaries of a Call Girl while on a trip in Ireland. Moulin Rogue only solidified my musings.
I loved seeing confident women in positions of power–at least subconsciously I believe that’s what was making me so attracted to these characters, or rather, the idea of becoming a sex worker like them.
And as it were, in the Summer of 2017, I found myself single–dumped out of an eight-year relationship with a guy who was super adamant I not try out sugar dating–and therefore…free to do whatever the fuck I wanted. Less than two weeks after that guy broke my heart, I was breaking into the world of sugar.
My early experiences were graded on a learning curve, and I like to frame my mistakes as “paid opportunities to get better at something” (lol). Looking back, I definitely didn’t garner the spoilings I deserved to the degree I deserved starting out, but the money I was making was a lot to me at that time–and getting paid to practice being a compensated companion really isn’t so bad.
Over time I got better and better at finding the lines where transactionality and truth meet, and where they diverge. I honed the skill of keeping my sugar relationships in neat containers separate from my “personal life” (such a blurry thing to distinguish at first), while allowing everything inside those containers to remain genuine and authentic.
I let real love bloom, even if the physical attractions sometimes had to be manufactured with live-feed fantasies in my mind.

How did you decide to start writing about your experiences?
Even though I’m a severe introvert, I’ve always felt comfortable sharing my art–like performing in the theatre, or submitting my poetry to writing competitions was cathartic, or maybe more like necessary to breathe.
I can’t do loud concerts or crowded parties, but put me in front of an audience and I can share my deepest darkest parts. I think my pieces in Cosmopolitan feel like being on the stage.
Even though I’m writing with the true sex stories of my life as source material, I feel like the storified versions are art, being shared on the stage of the worldwide web.
But bottom line: I’m so happy to share openly about the empowered sex life I lead, and hope it inspires less shame and more love in all who read 🙂
Why do you do what you do?
I had a near-death experience in 2019 and ever since then life (and the art I’m making while alive) has seemed not only urgent, but *necessary*.
I can’t not do what I do, in all the ways, in all the mediums, all the time.
What do the first 60 minutes of your day look like?
I wake up and handwrite 3 pages every day (The Artists’ Way, for those who are familiar), make a decaf, and usually the next step is hot yoga because I find it difficult to workout past 10am.

What is an unexpected pleasure you discovered in your work?
I’ve discovered that while I’m an introvert through and through, I have more social capacity and an appreciation of learning new people than I realized!
What should more people know about your work?
Nothing I do is an accident, not a single detail.
Why did you change your identity from baby to goddess?
In 2021 I took a break from full-on sugar relationships (the gray area, real relationships that have finances involved—are they any different from marriage? I don’t know!), in search of a safe way to get closer to the feeling of my original fantasy: fully transactional sex work.
Turns out: There are places in Nevada where you can become a legal, licensed, total-above-board courtesan. God, is there anything hotter than to feel so wanted that someone is willing to throw money down just for the chance to be with you?!
So, I applied to one and began a now-five year journey as a legal lady of the night, and through my experiences at the brothel discovered the most empowered version of myself yet.
I transformed, becoming more confident in my capabilities, what I bring to the table, and the (literal) value of my time and expertise. When I turned around and opened my life to sugar relationships again after that up-level, I realized I wanted to be the one in charge, in control.
Instead of dating daddies who’d foot the bill if I was good, I became a sugar goddess, partnering exclusively with submissive men who get off on worshiping me–financially to no end, with their whole hearts, and, let’s be honest…usually from their home away from home: my feet.

Do you think there’s a need out there for more sugar goddesses?
I absolutely believe that abundance is our natural state–a tree doesn’t grow just one leaf, you never see a single blade of grass–and the world of sugar is no different.
We honestly need more sugar goddesses because many more men than are living it out crave a submissive outlet from their stressful lives.
Throughout my work and play I’ve realized what a gift it is to let someone pour their adoration into you, to hand over the reigns and do what you say instead of them having to lead.
It’s a reprieve to have a Goddess to look up to and surrender under. More men need it, which means Sugar Goddesses who want to answer the call could find themselves in a beautiful win-win.
What’s your superpower?
My willingness to be vulnerable 🙂

We love vices. What’s yours?
Good ol’ ganja. I’m a Cali girl, what can I say?!
Who are your sensual inspirations?
Honestly, my future-self is my inspiration every day, in every way. I’m doing this all for her.
I also love anytime I meet someone who is *really* enjoying the fuck out of life – they inspire me to keep doing the same.
