Kink educator Vüdü Dähl: can you describe yourself in 3 words?

Curious, resilient, empath.

Tell us more and yourself and what you do

I’m Vüdü Dähl.  I am a kink educator in LA. I just consider myself a person who is curious, goal-oriented, and someone who just wants to make a positive impact in the world.

I love learning and connecting with people and I love expanding my mind so many different things this world has to offer. I think a lot of it comes from the fact that I grew up very sheltered and didn’t have much exposure to the outside world.

Now that I’m an adult who’s traveling, meeting people, building relationships, and exploring my free will, I want to inspire others to do the same. Especially to the people who lack support and positive reinforcement in their lives.

What services do you provide on Sensuali?

I offer kink education and coaching, and I’m currently in the process of getting my certificate in somatic sexology. I would love to be able to work with people who have experienced trauma and educate on trauma-informed kink.

What turns you on?

Anything art-related like a beautiful piece of music that literally challenges my senses. I love really good Matcha latte when the weather is just crisp enough… and noses. I really like noses… especially the aquiline noses with a deviated septum.

What was your journey to being a kink educator in LA?

My journey in this world certainly hasn’t been an easy one. I had to unlearn a lot of the programming and brainwashing that was inflicted upon me as a child.

I had to build myself self-esteem, curb my self-destructive ways and learn to actually love and become present in life. It’s a lot.

While I feel that I’ve come so far I feel that the journey isn’t nearly over yet and this makes me excited because I’m very much looking forward to seeing and experiencing all the new things that my journey has in store for me. This a life long journey that continues the to evolve as long as I stay curious.

What do the first 60 minutes of your day look like?

The first thing I do is check emails and I do that for about five minutes. After that, I will either meditate, manifest or plan out my day.

I have a bit of a ritual where I like to do beauty magic, that involves my skincare, makeup and hair routine, affirmations and giving thanks to the universe and all that its provided for me.

This takes about 45 minutes or so. Once it’s done, I usually get back into bed for a few more minutes and plan out content for the week.

Why do you do what you do?

I believe that my life purpose is to use my trauma as an opportunity to uplift others.

At the same time, I am becoming the inspiration that I wish I would’ve seen growing up, so in a way, I am healing my inner child.

I think we grew up in a circumstance where our brains become so used to the pain that was infected upon us, that we constantly ruminate on it, preventing us from moving on.

I just wanted to be that little voice in someone’s head that cheering them on on their journey, letting them know that their trauma doesn’t define their present and future; that they are growing into the very person they were meant to be.

What is an unexpected pleasure you discovered being a kink educator?

Pretty much everything that I’ve discovered about my work was already expected. I just love getting to witness people taking a chance on themselves and letting go previous limiting beliefs. I love that.

What should more people know about your work as a kink educator?

As a kink educator, I’m always expanding growing, evolving and I want my work to reflect that. As I continue this path, I want to be able to encourage others to do the same and explore without being held back by societal standards and norms.

What’s your superpower?

My intuition.

We love vices. What’s yours?

Matcha Lattes and skincare devices/products.
