Part monster, part muse – Monstresse Nepha is a queer, disabled domme and kinky alt model whose work lives at the edge of pain and pleasure, art and intimacy.

A self-described “rope bunny who dominates while tied up,” Nepha moves fluidly between roles: poet, performer, sadomasochist, and storyteller, exploring connection, vulnerability, and the beauty of control.

How would you describe yourself in 3 words?

Mischievous queer domme or malicious sadomaso monster.

Tell us more about yourself and what you do…

I’m Monstresse Nepha: a disabled queer sadomaso domme, with a fondness for puppies and brats.
I’m also a rope bunny, (and yes, I dominate while I’m tied up), a monstrous divinity, a poet, a SFF writer and a kinky alt model.
I  regularly do photoshoots as a model, I sometimes read my poetry in public and participate in zines, and more rarely I participate in fashion shows.

What services do you provide on Sensuali?

I offer my services as a dominatrix and a kinky alt model. I’ve been told that I’m right in the middle, domination wise, meaning I can be as soft or as hard as needed.
And I tend to be both at the same time. I really love sessions involving impact play or wax play. And I’ve an interest in electro play as well.

What turns you on?

Connection and vulnerability are what really does me in. Like, these are the big keys for me. Seeing the bond some folks share draws me in as well.
But yeah, having the trust of someone else in my hands and being relied upon for an intimate moment is very powerful and potent stuff.

What was your journey into this world?

As soon as I started transitioning, I knew I’d turn to sex work at some point in my life, ‘cause I knew even back then that it could afford me the freedom I needed to strive as a trans disabled person with fluctuating energy, contrary to a vanilla job. So I kept meself informed about it, compiling resources I could find online, while also developing an interest for all things BDSM.
I just didn’t know it’d take more than a decade for me to finally do it. I’m 34 now, nearly 12 years into hrt and, being an overall late-bloomer, I only started having relationships later than most in life while also slowly making my way into the kinky world, first through watching performances in person and going to munches then training as a ropes bunny with a much more experienced friend.
That friend later gave me my title and became my puppy. I started sex work last year; tried doing it online at first but I couldn’t be as regular and as consistent as I’d need to so I turned to in-person work, which I’m more suited for. And it gives me much more freedom.
And as far as being a model, I never thought I could be one until I met one of my partners. Dating and getting to know them gave me such a boost in confidence, partly ‘cause they used to be a model themself, and also ‘cause they are such a wonderful person overall.
They rushed to my place to give me some advice on poses as I was about to do my first photoshoot with a professional photographer for my dominatrix ads. They pushed me to pursue that path, telling me that I could have what it takes for this work.
So, yeah, even tho I had three fashion shows and four photoshoots under my belt by then, it didn’t hit me until this year that I could pursue being a model. Now I’m on my tenth shoot for this year alone.

What do the first 60 minutes of your day look like?

My disability makes it nearly impossible to ever feel rested so I usually linger a bit in bed after I wake up then either directly hop into the shower ‘cause I have some medical appointment, usually physical therapy in the morning. Otherwise just make a cuppa tea while I check my messages.

Why do you do what you do?

Simply put: I love meeting new people, I love getting to know them, I love BDSM and I love intimacy, be it sexual or not. And I love working with my hands.

What should more people know about your work?

I especially love to be playful in my sessions and I love being given carte blanche, as long as limits have been previously determined, and practices negotiated.

What is an unexpected pleasure you discovered in your work?

As a xenogender dyke, and a dyke for fag at that, involved in mostly T4T relationships, I did not expect to take such pleasure into dominating cis men.
Also, as someone who used to self-describe as shy or introverted, I noticed how much I actually love meeting and getting to know people.

What’s your superpower?

Being a magnet for puppies and brats… And mostly trans ones, at that!

We love vices. What’s yours?

Pu erh tea is my biggest one, I’d say ! And I absolutely adore food. I’m a gourmet as much as a gourmand. Otherwise : books, books and… yes, more books !

Who are your sensual inspirations?

My friends, definitively. I have the incredible luck to be surrounded by various folks who bring a lot of different sensual energies in my life. And I love Metaraph. Their genderfuck vibes are always a huge inspiration for me.

Closing thoughts?

I’d love to do more collabs with folks as a kinky alt model. And I’ve had a performance at the back of my mind for a while, involving sensual wax and knife play.
