How do we plan a no-phone evening?

Decide the boundary together beforehand, or one of you becomes the phone police - which kills the mood faster than the phones did. Physically put them in another room; willpower against a pocket buzz is a losing game. Then plan something with your hands or feet: cook, walk, play cards, give a massage. An empty evening invites screens back. A full one doesn't. Start with two hours, not a whole day.
