Ethically non-monogamous relationships are some of the most intentional, communicative, and self-aware ways of relating that exist. They’re also some of the most misunderstood, including by the people who are supposed to be helping.

It’s a well-documented experience in ENM communities: you find a therapist, and when things get hard, the response is some version of “have you considered that the relationship structure might be the problem?” It comes from a lack of understanding, and it leaves people feeling more alone than when they started.

We created Sensuali to change that. All practitioners on our platform are verified and reviewed, and every one of them genuinely understands the world you’re navigating. Browse below to find the right fit.

What kind of support are you looking for?

ENM practitioners work in different ways and specialise in different things. Here’s a rough guide to help you find the right match:

Opening up for the first time. If you’re considering opening your relationship and want support navigating that transition, look for a coach or therapist who specialises in relationship structure conversations, values and boundary-setting, and helping couples move through change with clarity rather than chaos.

Working through difficulties. If you’re already in an ENM relationship and things have got complicated, whether that’s jealousy, broken agreements, communication breakdowns, or one partner pulling back, look for someone experienced in ENM-specific relational dynamics and conflict.

LGBTQ+ affirming support. Many ENM practitioners also specialise in LGBTQ+ identities, which matters when your queerness and your relationship structure are part of the same story. Finding someone who holds both means you don’t have to separate them.

Kink-aware or kink-informed practice. For those whose ENM life and kink life overlap, a kink-aware practitioner is essential. They won’t treat your interests as a side issue or something to navigate around; they’ll work with your full picture.

Somatic, embodied, or touch-based work. Some practitioners work with the body as much as the mind, using somatic, tantric, or embodied approaches to help you process what jealousy, desire, or attachment actually feels like physically, not just intellectually. If you’re drawn to that kind of work, look for practitioners who explicitly offer it.
