Sploshing, in its most extravagant form (someone covered in slime) can be seen as a controversial kink, but if you look a little closer, most of us like enjoy sploshing in some form or another.

There’s always going to be something naturally arousing about wet substances. But sploshing is more than just a kink. It’s a way to let go, a therapeutic form of play, a temporary regression to childhood that can be incredibly stress-relieving.

Brianna tells us how much it has helped her personally in recent years. As a UK fetish award finalist, she is a sploshing star at the top of the wet and messy game.

Brianna is a sploshing content creator and also provides in-person experiences. We had a virtual sit down to understand more about her work.

First: What is Sploshing?

Sploshing is a fetish or sensual interest centred around getting messy with food or liquids. This can involve pouring, squashing, smearing, or being covered in things like cream, custard, jelly, chocolate, mud, or other wet or sticky substances, either alone or with others.

For some people, sploshing is visually arousing. For others, it’s about sensation, texture, temperature, or the loss of control that comes with getting messy. It often overlaps with sensory play, humiliation or power dynamics, body confidence, and playful experimentation rather than being explicitly sexual in itself.

Like many fetishes, sploshing fetish exists on a spectrum. It can be light, playful, and clothed, or more intimate depending on boundaries and consent. At its core, it’s about curiosity, sensation, and stepping outside everyday norms in a controlled, consensual way.

How would you describe your approach to sploshing in a nutshell?

A lot of my content is slapstick. I love recreating characters and bringing to life new ones, having fun with the outfits and scenes and also the humiliation side/trashing of the clothes.

I do also love being sensual & sexual with sploshing. I find the feeling a huge turn-on and adore feeling & being sexy in it. I love bringing to life custom requests and making people happy.

What’s your ideal sploshing Scenario?

A room full of fellow Wammers all recreating the pie fight scene From the film THE GREAT RACE, oh yes!

What is your favourite sploshing substance?

In terms of which substance, this is a hard one as I love many and all are very different. I would probably have to pick Gunge & Mud though, ooooh & custard, but I have so many!

Does sploshing intertwine with any other fetishes for you?

I’m enjoying mixing in Bondage & BDSM currently.

What should more people know about sploshing?

Sploshing is fun & therapeutic! You should try it. It has been used for many years in the entertainment business such as Tv shows like GYOB, Noel’s house party and even used in films where someone gets hit in the face with a pie.
A lot of people love Wam for the comedy factor and a kink doesn’t always have to be something sexual.

What are your hopes with the future in sploshing?

My hopes are that more people will attempt to understand & explore this niche of a fetish & realise how great it can be whether you try it alone, with friends, or with partners.

A lot of people participate in sploshing and don’t even realise it, I think I speak for a lot of people who have used sweet ingredients in the bedroom, such as cream & chocolate sauce etc… this is sploshing!

Many people are completely unaware that they are exploring sploshing, so I would love people to know about it, and to be more open minded about it.
