Edie Montana

Edie Montana is a stripper, a performer, and an early-career writer. She was born in Italy and she has been based in Berlin for the past ten years. She completed a Master's in Cultural Studies in 2022, writing her master’s thesis in New Zealand about sex work representation and stigma. Besides working in mainstream strip clubs, she is the co-founder of the project Slut Riot, previously known as Berlin Strippers Collective, a growing platform that combines art and activism, aimed at de-stigmatising sex work through performances.
