Why have we stopped touching eachother?

Usually nobody decided to stop - it faded. A missed hug becomes a habit of not hugging. Often one partner pulled back after feeling rejected, and the other never knew. Touch also gets loaded: if every touch might lead to sex, casual touch starts to feel like a request, so it stops. Rebuild with touch that clearly leads nowhere - a hand on the back, ten seconds longer in a hug. No agenda. That safety is what lets warmth return.
