Imagine if there were an a simple way for you and your partner to learn how to pleasure each other more deeply, rewiring your sex life towards presence, pleasure, and connection rather than performance or outcome.
Professional tantric bodyworkers, Rubens Abreu and Ebru Love are hosting a 6-hour couples tantric massage workshop designed to do exactly that.
Held in a relaxed and carefully held group space, the workshop offers couples the time and support to learn the foundations of tantric touch in a way that feels safe, nourishing, and embodied.
Rather than rushing towards technique or outcome, the focus is on slowing down, listening, and developing skills that support conscious intimacy, trust, and connection through touch.
We spoke with Rubens and Ebru to learn more about what happens during their couples tantric massage workshop, how the day unfolds, and what participants often take with them long after the experience ends.

We’re hosting this workshop on the 8th of March (Women’s Day), co-facilitated by myself (Rubens), and Ebru. It is an immersive, hands-on experience focused on conscious, heart-led touch, and on learning couples tantric massage through presence and connection rather than technique or performance.
In this tantric massage workshop, we explore giver and receiver dynamics, consent, intuition, and how tantric massage can feel safe, nourishing, and deeply connecting for couples. There are live demonstrations with a model, and plenty of space to practise massage and explore the work together.
The workshop is open to all genders and orientations. You can come with a partner, friend, or lover, and no previous experience with couples tantric massage is needed, just curiosity and an open heart.
If you don’t have a partner, we also have a WhatsApp group to help with matchmaking, as we’ve noticed a growing need to support people who want to learn couples tantric massage but don’t yet have a partner.
What happens during the couples tantric massage workshop?
The day begins by gently welcoming everyone into the space and gathering in a grounded opening circle. In the opening of the workshop, safety is established through open conversations around boundaries, consent, privacy, and personal agency.
Participants are invited to arrive fully in their bodies, to share how they’re feeling emotionally and physically, and to voice anything they wish to bring into the couples tantric massage space. This initial check-in sets the tone for a day rooted in presence, trust, and respect.
From there, the workshop moves into embodied learning. Ebru opens the teaching with a live demonstration, working with a model while the group observes. This allows participants to attune not just to technique, but to the energy, pacing, and quality of touch that underpins tantric massage.
Couples are then guided step by step into practice, supported closely as they begin exploring massage in their own bodies.
After a short break, the second demonstration follows, led by Rubens, again paired with guided practice. Each part of the couples tantric massage workshop builds gently on the last, allowing confidence, sensitivity, and connection to deepen organically.
The latter part of the day opens into a free-flow practice session. Here, participants integrate what they’ve learned about couples tantric massage in a way that feels natural to them, exploring at their own rhythm rather than following a fixed sequence.
The workshop finishes with a heartfelt closing circle, where reflections and insights are shared, and the experience is consciously woven into everyday life.
What inspired you both to create this workshop, and why now?
This collaboration came together with surprising ease.
After hosting my first workshop in Stockholm, I returned to London feeling a strong call to bring this world of massage, bodywork and healing touch-based practices into a wider community. Ebru and I discussed our ideas, and offering workshops together felt like an instant yes.
What became clear very quickly was how beautifully our backgrounds complement one another. We met at a training in London in 2024 and have been close friends ever since. Running our first workshop together revealed just how naturally our skills, energies, and ways of holding space align.
Ebru brings over two decades of spiritual practice into the room. As a trauma-informed bodyworker, healer, teacher, and founder of the Future Human Temple, her work weaves tantric and Tao bodywork, sacred sexuality, ritual, and ceremony. She creates an exceptionally strong container of safety, consent, and nervous system regulation, allowing people to open to sensation, emotion, and presence with trust.
My background is rooted in sensual massage and Tantra–Tao bodywork, specialising in body-to-body tantric massage, slow touch, pleasure, and conscious intimacy. My work supports women and couples in softening, opening, and reconnecting with desire, trust, and genuine intimacy through embodied, intentional touch, which is at the heart of couples tantric massage.
Together, we balance depth with playfulness, structure with flow. The workshop feels deeply healing, yet light, relaxed, and enjoyable, never rigid or prescriptive. Participants are supported to explore intimacy and touch in ways that feel authentic to them.
Our shared intention with this couples tantric massage workshop is to create a healing space that is respectful, playful, and inclusive. A space where connection becomes medicine, exploration feels freeing, and everyone is met exactly as they are. Pleasure becomes a doorway to self-discovery, and intimacy is allowed to unfold naturally, with the body and heart at the centre.
👉 Outside of workshops, Rubens offers private tantric massage sessions rooted in the same principles.

What is the atmosphere like for someone who is curious but nervous about a tantric workshop?
This couples tantric massage workshop is intentionally entry-level and beginner-friendly, though we often find that experienced practitioners and massage professionals gain just as much from it. Even for those well-versed in bodywork, the emphasis on slowing down, presence, and conscious touch often brings surprising depth.
Because it’s an introductory workshop, we work with the body only and do not include intimate parts. More advanced practices, such as yoni, lingam, and prostate massage, are offered in future workshops for those who wish to explore further aspects of tantric massage.
The atmosphere of the couples tantric massage workshop is warm, welcoming, and deeply human. Some participants come from Ebru’s Future Human Temple community, others through my work, and some are completely new to this world. All are welcomed exactly as they are.
Nudity is welcome but never required. Couples are encouraged to listen inwardly and choose what feels right moment by moment during the workshop. Everything demonstrated is always an invitation. Some couples feel at ease in their naked skin, others prefer to remain partially clothed. All choices are fully respected.
Our role is to support participants in slowing down, attuning to sensation and energy, and cultivating presence through couples tantric massage. The focus is on connection rather than performance, awareness rather than perfection.
We also consciously make space for emotions. When emotions are met with acceptance and allowed to be part of the experience of touch, they often become gateways to profound release and healing.
You emphasise presence over technique. What do people discover when they slow down in couples tantric massage?
Many participants are surprised to discover how naturally healing their touch already is. They realise they don’t need to be experts or professionals to create experiences that are deeply nourishing, grounding, and pleasurable.
People often discover the power of giving without expectation, and how liberating it feels to offer loving touch not as a transaction, but as presence.
In practising couples tantric massage, they reconnect with something deeply innate: the body’s ability to hold, soothe, and love.
How do you work with consent, giver and receiver dynamics, and safety throughout the workshop?
Participants attend either as real-life couples or through a matchmaking process that takes place well before the workshop. Those matched are strongly encouraged to meet in person and have at least one video call beforehand. By the time they arrive, they have already taken responsibility for building basic trust and alignment.
Consent is woven throughout the entire workshop. We begin with a group conversation around boundaries, bodily signals, and personal agency. Participants learn to communicate clear yeses, nos, and maybes, first individually and then with their partner.
This conversation is revisited after the demonstrations, once everyone has clarity about what will be taught in the couples tantric massage workshop.
Safety is continuously supported through a trauma-informed approach, nervous system awareness, and a strong emphasis on slowing down. Pausing and stillness are honoured as powerful practices in themselves. Participants are always encouraged to adjust, pause, or opt out at any point.
What tends to surprise participants most about the couples tantric massage workshop?
Participants often describe the workshop as magical, deeply healing, and profoundly meaningful. Many speak of how safe, seen, and free they felt, and how vulnerability, sensuality, and emotion were welcomed without judgment.
People are frequently surprised by the depth of transformation that comes through couples tantric massage: emotional release, renewed joy, reconnection to vitality and pleasure. We hear stories of grief softening into love, fear melting into trust, and touch becoming a language of care and presence.
We often get feedback for the way we hold space in workshops, balancing structure with softness, guidance with gentleness, and depth with play. The feedback consistently shows that this work goes far beyond technique. It is about remembering how to be fully alive in the body, open in the heart, and connected to one another.
If someone leaves with just one thing, what do you hope it is?
That they remember something deeply simple and profoundly human: how alive, connected, and at home we can feel in our bodies when we slow down, listen, and meet loving touch with presence through couples tantric massage.
That loving, conscious touch is not something reserved for experts or special moments, but an innate capacity we all carry, one that can soften the nervous system, open the heart, and deepen intimacy with ourselves and with others.
