Ancestral healer and somatic guide Lucia Vasquez, founder of Embodied Elements, shares her journey from trauma to wholeness, and how she helps others reconnect with pleasure and embodied healing.
Lucia Vasquez of Embodied Elements is a Chicana ancestral healer, Tibetan Tantra® practitioner, Somatic Sexologist and Sexological Bodyworker®.
Drawing on ancestral medicine, elemental embodiment and over 15 years of experience, she supports people in reconnecting with their pleasure, healing from trauma and cultivating wholeness through bodywork, coaching and community practices.

I’m Lucia, a Chicana and ancestral healer of various modalities. My practice includes lineage based Tibetan Tantra®, Somatic Sexology, Sexological Bodywork and elemental embodiment.
I empower individuals to explore the importance of their pleasure wholeness through personalized guidance from a somatic lens.
This is about creating a pathway of deep connection to authentic wisdom, natural elements and ancestral medicine as a portal to embodiment coming home to wholeness.
What services do you provide on Sensuali?
My offerings are rooted in Tibetan Tantric® coaching – a spiritual pathway, Somatic Sex Education, bodywork of various modalities and practices to individuals, couples/partners and community events.
What was your journey into this world?
I’m a loving mother of 6 beautiful children, an artist of various mediums and I feel proud of my accomplishments in life. I love myself and I love what I do.
For me, becoming certified in the field of tantra and sexology was not something I had planned.
Being a sexual abuse survivor and coming from a lineage of generational trauma unraveled my life’s path into a profound search of healing transformation.
It was then that I was gifted and welcomed into my Tantric medicine pathway to ignite self love and heal myself for balanced wellness.
I slowly started to find my way back to “me”. As layers of trauma, shame, fear, and pain began to shed away. I could begin to feel all of my life’s pleasures slowly return with such bliss, gratitude and power.
I bring my own experiences as well as working with others who have experienced trauma to share, grow, awaken and heal others.
Why do you do what you do?
For me, Healing is freedom from suffering; freedom from suffering leads to bliss and pleasure in all forms.
Pleasure is essential and is in alignment with my natural state of being.
I enjoy being able to share this with others.
What should more people know about your work?
Specialties include working with all genders/identity expressions, the LQBTQ+, People of the Global Majority, Kink, and Sex Working communities and people with visible and invisible disabilities as well as provide scar tissue remediation bodywork.
