Meet Tara: a skilled practitioner and artist specialising in Tantric bodywork, Sensual Somatic© embodiment coaching, and performance art (pole dance, striptease, and burlesque).

My name is Tara. I am Irish-born and have traveled and lived all over the world for 13+ years, eventually finding myself (literally) in Berlin. “Normal” is not my nature—I thrive on exploring all corners of existence and the possibilities of life in today’s world.
I feel most comfortable and expressed in taboo spaces.
As an artist of the body, I use dance and performance to allow others to witness and experience the endless range of our bodies’ abilities to express and evoke emotions.
On the flip side, I work as a bodyworker and somatic facilitator, helping people reconnect with their bodies, explore new territories of sensation and release, and tell their personal stories through embodiment practices.

- Rebozo closing ceremony (a Mexican midwifery technique, where the woman is wrapped from head to toe in Rebozo shawls) This is particularly profound to close the energetic field after a birth, abortion, miscarriage or any traumatic and intense life experience.

What turns you on?
How to condense this, There’s so many categories and nuances to turn ons. So lets go with the first ones that come to mind
- When I get to reverse my normal role of being in control of holding and guiding sessions , and surrender myself to to a pair strong hands that know how to push, bite, and spank all my buttons.
- Freshly bathed, naked bodies under the duvet of a big, warm cosy bed, they definitely won’t stay freshly washed for long.
- The feeling of the sun and wind on my naked salty body on the beach, In general the sea makes my juices FLOW.
- People who move through life embodied and with integrity.
- Dancing naked or with no underwear on, to music that’s moving my body like its making love to itself.

What was your journey into this world?
I am all about the body, how it moves, how it embodies and expresses the life-force that is moving through it. I have been a dancer and dancing since…forever, for the last few years my life revolved around performing arts and expressive dance.
I also worked for many years in a strip club in Berlin which was one of the deepest learning curves of humanity I have ever experienced.
I trained as a trauma informed Sensual Somatic™ facilitator which was the catalyst of me combining movement, dance, sensuality with a focus on being trauma informed.
The next chapter began to evolve after I received my first Tantra massage from a dear friend and professional. It moved me so profoundly that I vowed to myself that I would learn to be able to gift this experience to as many other bodies as I could.
From there I began to study and learn Tantra and Tantra bodywork , both independently and with an amazing school and studio here in Berlin called Journey Within.
As soon I committed myself to this work, my path and niche within it just keeps crystalizing and my life experiences up to this point feel so ridiculously relevant and necessary for me to be able to do what I do now.
What do the first 60 minutes of your day look like?
Well, that depends on the day to be honest, I’m a very cyclical being, some mornings its all early rising, breath work, movement and matcha, and some mornings its dragging my ass out of bed, devouring a coffee and dancing to my very questionably cheesy Spotify playlist.
One thing that is consistent though is getting into my body, be it through movement, dance, yoga, or of course some more pleasurable ways to get “into” my body happen too !
Why do you do what you do?
I do what I do because I vowed to myself years ago that I would never work for someone else—never exchange my time or energy to fulfil someone else’s vision. Instead, I committed to working toward something that actively contributes to the greater good.
Initially, this felt overwhelming and unrealistic, but I realized it’s achievable when I focus on the microcosm and the individual. That’s exactly what I do: I work with individuals to enhance and elevate their way of existing within their microcosm.
It might sound a bit “woo-woo,” but I deeply and truly believe that if everyone had access to feeling loved and could cultivate love for themselves, the world would be a completely different place—naturally, for the better.
What is an unexpected pleasure you discovered in your work?
Firstly, I’d say the pleasure comes from truly meeting myself and discovering my capabilities. Through my work, I’ve found immense empowerment, diversity, learning, and, ultimately, so much pleasure.
One of the most unexpected sources of pleasure, I suppose, comes from the individuals I’ve had the privilege to work with. These are people I might never have chosen to engage with or even encountered in my “everyday” life.
Yet, through their coming to me as clients, the depths and experiences we’ve shared during sessions have been profoundly deep and utterly unexpected.
Due to the nature of my work—and the eros and sensuality it inherently creates—I also cultivate pleasure within myself. However, it’s not a pleasure that is acted upon or one that demands fulfillment in any traditional sense. Instead, it’s a deeper, more expansive sense of feeling.
This work has significantly deepened and expanded my capacity and range for experiencing pleasure.
What should more people know about your work?
That engaging in a session with me is an invitation to explore a refined balance of sensuality and safety, nurturing and naughty. It’s a space to dive deep into the full range of emotions and sensations, reconnect with your body, and unlock new dimensions of pleasure and self-awareness.
What’s your superpower?
My magic hands. Go figure 😉

Who are your sensual inspirations?
My Berlin Bubble of friends. Its sometimes almost a “pinch me” moment when I realize the people and skills in which I am surrounded by. My social engagements are literally a buffet of sensualists, sex workers, musicians, performers and bodyworkers.
