Equal parts sensual salon and immersive performance, The Sublime Society is redefining what a hedonistic night out can look and feel like. We spoke with the team behind one of the most distinctive soirées in London, Berlin and Paris.
The Sublime Society is not easy to categorise, which is probably the point. Founded by queer performance artist and pro domina Charlie Bouquett, it began in London’s West End and has since expanded to Berlin and Paris, with Switzerland to follow.
Part sensual salon, part immersive kabarett, part kink event, The Sublime Society is boundary-dissolving, and very much at the forefront of where the erotic world is heading.
This is a place where shibari installations and live performance sit alongside genuine encounters between strangers, and where the line between audience and participant is deliberately and beautifully blurred.
We interviewed The Sublime Society to find out what drives them, and what they believe the sensual world could look like with the right foundations.
Tell us more about yourself and what you do
The Sublime Society is an exclusive hedonistic soirée, a sensual salon where fantasy and desire meet in an intimate, romantic setting, draped in silk and secrecy.
Born in London’s West End and now arriving in Berlin, it offers an immersive world of elegance, intrigue, and erotic exploration, inviting kindred spirits to indulge freely in the art of pleasure.
More than a cabaret, it is a multi-dimensional experience of sensuality and intimacy, an evening of refined hedonism where voyeurism, performance, and atmosphere intertwine.
Guests are guided through a carefully curated journey of Kabarett, live music, shibari installations, and sensory moments designed to awaken every sense, led by an international cast of Sublime artists who shape the night with presence and playfulness.
