Jocelyn Silva is a sex educator, intimacy coach, and self-described permission slip giver, here to help you get honest about what you want.
A first-generation Mexican-Salvadoran woman raised Catholic, Jocelyn knows a thing or two about sexual shame, and has spent 15 years doing the unlearning so she can help others do the same.
Bisexual, solo-polyamorous, and currently living as a digital nomad, she brings a grounded, no-fluff approach to 1:1 coaching for individuals and couples, as well as yoni gazing and somatic sexual healing ceremonies- available online or in person wherever in the world she happens to be.
Her work come from lived experience: infidelity, SLAA recovery, and a commitment to relentless authenticity over perfection, and shaped by over a decade working with trans and queer communities of color.
If you’re done betraying yourself in the bedroom and beyond, Jocelyn might just be who you’ve been looking for.
How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
Joyful, relentless, kind.
Tell us more about yourself and what you do
Hello! I’m Jocelyn. I am a sexual empowerment coach and sex educator. I have been in the field of sexuality for 15 years now and I love it! I am also a digital nomad — I have been travelling around different parts of the world for the last 5 years.
I am from Los Angeles, California, first generation Latina, and bilingual in Spanish and English. I am passionate about helping people embrace and enjoy their sexualities fully because our pleasure is a gift from life. We deserve to enjoy it fully.
What services do you provide on Sensuali?
I do one-on-one sex and intimacy coaching with individuals and couples.

What turns you on?
Oh, I love this question… emotional intelligence and depth.
What was your journey to being a sexual empowerment coach?
I was raised Catholic and even wanted to be a nun when I was a teenager.
So much shame around my sexuality led to me hating myself, and after leaving the church, I went on an entire self-discovery journey to heal that shame and find my own form of spirituality that celebrated my sexuality.
A lot of challenges, fuck ups, and hard life lessons led me to want to help others in my same position.

What do the first 60 minutes of your day look like?
I wake up, pee (lol), meditate and pray, write in my gratitude journal, tidy my apartment a bit, brush my teeth, get ready and head to the gym.

Why do you do what you do?
I want to be the person I wish my mother had growing up, and whom I wish I had too.
I want to support as many people as possible to let go of their sexual shame and embrace their power.
To be sexually empowered is to be an unstoppable force — and I want to help people understand how they can be that for themselves.
What is an unexpected pleasure you discovered through sexual empowerment coaching?
I enjoy being dominant in the bedroom every once in a while. Who would have thought!
What should more people know about your work?
I am very practical and grounded in my approach. No fluff, no hard-to-understand talk — just practical tools and grounded lessons.
I make my work accessible to everyone, even those who have never embarked on a personal development journey before.

What’s your superpower?
The amount of energy I have. I am a very energetic person and I love that about myself.
We love vices. What’s yours?
I love me some nicotine! Cigarettes hit so nice — especially after sex, on a cold rainy day, or when having an intimate conversation with a friend.
