Ruby Iyun is a ritualist, Reiki master, and somatic practitioner based in Tucson, Arizona. Through women-only Shibari sessions and community circles, she uses conscious rope work, energy healing, and grounding ritual to help women regulate their nervous systems and come home to their bodies. This is slow, intentional practice—as far from performance as rope can get.
Ruby Iyun is a ritualist, Reiki master, and somatic practitioner based in Tucson, Arizona, whose work sits at the more intentional edge of rope practice. Through her sessions and women-only circles, she uses conscious Shibari not as performance or restraint, but as a somatic tool—a way of helping women regulate their nervous systems, reconnect with their bodies, and access a quality of safety they may rarely feel elsewhere.
How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
Sanctuary, Mirror, Anchor.

Tell us more about yourself…
I am a ritualist, Reiki master, and somatic practitioner devoted to creating safe, deeply intentional containers for self-discovery. My path is guided by a love for deep body awareness, soft living, and helping women navigate their inner landscapes with tenderness and absolute sovereignty. I find deep medicine in the slow, tactile rhythms of life, whether that is tying a conscious knot, pouring tea, or witnessing a profound moment of emotional release.
What services do you offer on Sensuali?
I offer sweet, highly intentional individual somatic Shibari sessions and curated community circles exclusively for women.
My work integrates conscious, slow-paced rope work with restorative nervous system regulation, subtle energy healing, and grounding rituals like tea ceremonies to create a deeply held space for physical and emotional release.

What turns you on?
Impeccable presence, the visible drop of a regulated nervous system, deep emotional safety, raw vulnerability, and the quiet, sacred architecture of an intentional container.
What was your journey into this world?
My path opened up through my own deep reclamation of body and boundaries. Moving from energy medicine and traditional ritual arts into somatic touch, I realized how profoundly our bodies crave to be safely held, seen, and witnessed.
Discovering the art of rope as a somatic mirror completely transformed my practice, showing me that physical lines can become the ultimate catalyst for emotional surrender and deep self-intimacy.

What do the first 60 minutes of your day look like?
Slow, tech-free entry into the day anchored by a quiet tea ritual, checking in with my indoor plants, my tarot card pull / astrology of the day, and a few moments of gentle somatic tracking to feel where my body is breathing before the world rushes in.
Why do you do what you do?
Because I believe that true intimacy begins with the self, and that women deserve pure, untainted sanctuaries where they can completely drop their armor, untangle their nervous systems, and remember what it feels like to be profoundly safe in their own skin.

What is an unexpected pleasure you discovered in your work?
The absolute softness that emerges right after a deep somatic release.
There is a sweet, quiet stillness in the room when someone fully surrenders to the holding of the ropes and finally lets out a breath they’ve been holding for years.
What should more people know about your work?
That somatic Shibari is not about performance or restriction, it is a conversation of consent, trust, and absolute presence. The rope is simply a gentle, physical extension of the container, acting as a supportive cradle for your nervous system to rest into.

What’s your superpower?
Holding an unshakeable, deeply protective, and nurturing space that allows others to drop instantly into their absolute vulnerability without fear.
We love vices. What’s yours?
Buying too many crystals for energy work haha.
Who are your sensual inspirations?
Mother Earth in all her slow, unapologetic cycles; the natural grace and wisdom of the feminine collective; and every woman who bravely chooses to live a soft life while speaking her hardest truths.

Closing thoughts?
I am so looking forward to bringing this sweet, intentional medicine to this collective and weaving safe spaces for deep remembrance.
