About me
Hi, I'm Makia Mullen. A Somatic Sexologist, Pelvic Health Specialist and Bodywoker. I offer a specialist, whole-person-centred approach to somatic and sexual wellness. My work is interdisciplinary, trauma-informed, and grounded in deep respect for the body’s intelligence and complexity. Every session is collaborative, ethical, and attuned. This work honours where you are, while gently supporting what’s ready to change, evolve and grow.
Why work with me . . .
I bring over 20 years of professional experience and 30,000 hours of hands-on clinical practice in the fields of integrative bodywork, pelvic care, somatic therapy, scar tissue remediation, and sexual wellness. My training spans many thousands of hours across a myriad of modalities, from bodywork and massage therapy to advanced pelvic care, somatic sexology and sexological bodywork. As well as somatic therapy, trauma integration and I am currently the only STREAM™ scar tissue remediation specialist in all of Ireland.
What makes my work unique . . .
Is how these disciplines are woven together into a holistically inclusive, somatically literate approach. One that addresses the body’s emotional, structural, energetic, and sexual layers. Sexuality is often left out of wellness, I see it as integral and essential to us thriving as WHOLE humans. Sexuality is part of how we relate to ourselves and others. How we heal, find joy, freedom and feel most alive in ourselves.

Skilled, attuned touch and care. Nuanced guidance and a space where the full complexity of us and our stories are welcome. Pain and trauma, yes of course, but also our pleasure, shame, desire, curiosity, and yearnings.
My practice is inclusive and gender-affirming, welcoming women, men, trans, and non-binary folks. I work with individuals, couples, ENM partnerships and polycules.
I offer in-person sessions from my studio in Dún Laoghaire, Dublin, Ireland and private retreats, immersions and sessions in Nevada City, California a few times per year.

My background is varied and I draw from a variety of lineages, techniques, approaches, and perspectives in my work. I’ve offered tantric healing arts since 2019, led retreats, run a spiritual retreat center, served as guide for intentional spiritual community, have been deeply involved with the International School of Temple Arts professionally since 2021, worked with clients 1:1 as a transformational guide since 2017, and supported hundreds of people in Shamanic Breathwork Journeys since 2018. Simone Farschi
Simone is a Sex Educator, Intimacy Coach, Sexological Bodyworker, and public speaker. She is featured in the EPIX TV series Sex Life and in NYC Journal as 2022 best coaches. Her mission is to elevate relationships, demystify pleasure, and empower people in their sexuality. Simone began this work because she experienced a huge gap in the education available to women regarding awareness of their bodies and fulfilling their sexual needs without shame or preconceived ideas. She is a Certified Life Coach, trained as a Doula, Somatica Practitioner, Peristeam Hydrotheripst, and Bodysex Facilitator and Mother. Simone offers a safe and actively responsive coaching style unique to other methods that provide her clients with a deeper understanding of the blocks that keep them from living a truly fulfilled life. This differs from traditional talk therapy as it incorporates guided exercises and practice to heal and progress rapidly. Simone is the founder of The Pleasure Plus, an online community that brings women together to learn how to have fulfilling and emotionally intelligent relationships, be empowered and secure in their bodies, be authentically themselves, gain sexual agency, trust their choices, and communicate desires— becoming more magnetic, radiant, and fulfilled in all aspects of their lives.
