My name is Martijn (he/him). I'm a certified trauma aware kink friendly Somatic Sex Educator, certified Intimacy Coach and certified Sexological bodyworker. I also teach Japanese inspired rope bondage and facilitate groups and events around intimacy, touch and sexuality.

Arriving into this work from a mindfulness background with the Plum Village tradition. Followed by tantra and explorations in the world of Shibari.

Currently offering one-on-one coaching sessions and rope coaching and education.

I'm bringing loads of patience, sharp observations, directness, humour and a loving welcoming heart. Overall, my goal is to help people realise their agency and freedom in sex. Helping them face their shame and shadows. Free of judgement. To deepen their sense of intimacy in themselves and other aspects of life.

FAQ

Do you offer 1-on-1 shibari sessions?

Yes, but I'm picky in who I wrk with. Bondage can be helpful in a therapeutic context. For instance when the goal of a session is to work with surrender, discomfort or power dynamics.

Isn't Shibari about sex?

No. It's a common misconception that Shibari is sexual in nature. It is not. For the most part it is a sensual experience and does inspire the erotic. But for me, especially in the context of sessions, there are no sexual acts af any kind.
