I am Alicia (she/her), a queer, trauma-informed educator and facilitator with over 8 years of experience creating and holding workshops around consent, sexuality, sensuality and connection. I am the founder of House of Circe, a queer-led project devoted to embodied exploration, pleasure, intimacy and community.
My work is rooted in intersectional feminism, somatic practices and consent. I am devoted to exploring sensuality and connection while deconstructing the externalised and internalised patriarchal narratives that shape how we relate to our bodies, desires and identities. I am passionate about empowering people to reclaim their life-giving sensuality, potency, joy and innocence, and to question the norms that shape our understanding of gender, sexuality and relational dynamics.
Bringing safety, curiosity and presence to the body is central to my work. Through embodied consent, conscious touch, communication and playful exploration, I invite people to deepen their relationship with themselves and others, cultivate a greater capacity for pleasure, and explore intimacy beyond conventional scripts and expectations.
I aim to create inclusive, body-positive and welcoming spaces where people can explore at their own pace, honour their boundaries, communicate their desires and discover new possibilities for connection. My approach centres informed consent, emotional safety, collaboration, play and respect for each person's autonomy and lived experience.
I believe that sensuality, deep rest, pleasure and community are powerful forms of resistance and activism. In a world that often disconnects us from our bodies and from one another, I see reclaiming these experiences as a way of nurturing autonomy, collective care and more liberating ways of being together.
My vision is to build community by empowering queer people and those who exist beyond dominant social norms to explore their bodies, sensuality and relationships through practices that nourish and resource the nervous system. I am also currently studying sexology and sex therapy to deepen my understanding of sexuality, intimacy and sexual wellbeing.
My qualifications
I have over 8 years of experience facilitating workshops on consent, sexuality, sensuality, intimacy and relational dynamics. I am the founder of House of Circe, a queer-led project offering trauma-informed, somatic and sex-positive workshops that empower people to explore their bodies, desires, boundaries and relationships.
My work brings together somatic awareness, consent education and embodied exploration. I facilitate workshops on embodied consent, conscious touch, communication, desire, intimacy beyond heteronormative scripts, and the exploration of power, pleasure and play.
My approach is grounded in intersectional feminism, body positivity, inclusivity and the belief that pleasure, sensuality and connection are important aspects of our wellbeing and autonomy. I create welcoming, non-judgmental spaces where people can develop a deeper relationship with their bodies, communicate their needs and boundaries more confidently, and explore intimacy at their own pace.
I am particularly passionate about making sexuality education more accessible to queer and marginalised communities, challenging shame and restrictive social norms, and helping people develop more conscious, authentic and fulfilling relationships with themselves and others.
I am currently studying sexology and sex therapy to deepen my knowledge and understanding of sexuality, sexual wellbeing and therapeutic approaches. My facilitation style combines curiosity, playfulness, care and a strong commitment to consent, emotional safety and personal autonomy.
