Introduction to BD$M (workshop for FLINTA people)
This introductory BD$M workshop offers a grounded and accessible entry point into the world of power, play, and conscious exploration. Together, we’ll build a foundation of consent, communication, and safety, while exploring power, sensation, the dynamics of domination and submission in both physical and psychological forms. You’ll learn practical tools for negotiation, boundary-setting, and aftercare, alongside an introduction to impact play and the use of rules and protocols. This workshop is designed to give you the confidence, awareness, and skills to explore BDSM in a way that is intentional, consensual, and connected.
What to expect

During the guided part we will explore
- Consent and safety frameworks including negotiation, boundaries, and aftercare
- An introduction to impact play
- Moving sensation, grounding, and integration
- An introduction to psychological domination, rules and protocols
No prior experience is needed.

- Comfortable clothing you can move in and helps you feel good. that can mean something that makes you feel confident, powerful, soft, comfy - or all of the above
- Food for dinner to share with the group if you wish
- Any props or toys you might want to play with

Radical Intimacy
Radical Intimacy is about transforming patriarchal and heteronormative norms - and reclaiming sensuality and intimacy as something fluid, alive, and inclusive. Radical Intimacy grew out of my exploration of neo-Tantra, but over time I found myself questioning some of its frameworks, particularly the tendency to understand intimacy through fixed ideas of masculine and feminine polarity. That binary never felt right.So this workshop takes what I found valuable in those practices: embodiment, breath, sensation, desire, presence, deep connection and explores them through a more fluid, expansive lens.Radical Intimacy is a space for us to meet ourselves and each other through the body, breath, sensation, desire, boundaries and presence. It’s an invitation to slow down, listen more deeply, and explore what becomes possible when we feel safe enough to be curious, expressive and fully ourselves.Through embodied practices, communication, sensual exploration and connection, we’ll explore intimacy beyond the scripts we’ve inherited. We’ll question some of the assumptions we’re given about how intimacy, desire and relationships are supposed to look, and make space for ways of connecting that are more curious, conscious, playful and alive.There’s space here for the full complexity of who we are: our softness and strength, vulnerability and power, grief and joy, certainty and curiosity, awkwardness and playfulness- without needing to fit ourselves into a particular role or way of relating.Radical intimacy means reclaiming connection, sensuality and desire as sources of agency, empowerment, aliveness and liberation.
