Could you introduce yourself and what you do?
I am Mistress Beate, a Domme with a playful and twisted mind who focuses on psychological games. (obviously brought to life by physical play).
How would you describe your approach to being a Domme?
My slogan has been ‘Psychological Domination’ since the start, and it has connected me with very well suited subs who enjoy play on all levels and are open to their mind being delved deeply into.
To me, connection and understanding is everything.
What specific services do you offer in session?
I am offering in-life sessions in Berlin and ‘fly me to you’ options, as well as online sessions.

My preference is when the sub knows what they want, either they are very intent on one single kink or task, or they are suggesting lots of options. What was your journey into this world?

What makes a BDSM session special to you?
I love it when I see my sub starting to trust me and let go completely, and I watch the shame dissolve.
I love seeing how the pressure of life melts away inside our space, and the sub gives up on trying to hold onto a faulty picture of masculinity, and instead relaxes into being led, being challenged to share thoughts with me and using them to make him meet new parts of himself.
I am driven by psychology, as much as I am driven by the structure of society and the pressure we’re all under by just living in it. Being in a closed space, where I choose the structure, where I can work on having my subs accept themselves just the way they are and play around with that – that is what makes a session special to me. When I feel their release, that’s when I know I have managed to reach deeper.
Tell us something that you wish more people knew about BDSM?
BDSM is so much more fun than what you’re seeing online.
How do you feel about the Berlin BDSM scene?
I feel thankful being in a city where BDSM is celebrated, where the fight for sex workers right is present and strong. Where a lot of people (sex workers and kinksters) don’t accept the bare minimum, but want to create something even better and make sure to put in a lot of free time and effort into its evolution.
What have you learned about yourself & about life from domming?
I have learnt that I am a sadist, and the joy it brings me when we are two people enjoying my sadistic games. How that side of me grows as my sub enjoys bringing me to laughter through their pain. I also learnt how brilliant I am at reading people, a room, and bending your mind without you noticing.
Domming has also showed me the importance of prioritising spending time in a space where you can be completely free and feel accepted for who you truly are.
Advice for newbie dommes?
Get a mentor that you’re feeling connected to and feel trust for. Remember that other Dommes are your colleagues, and so are other sex workers – let’s support and lift each other. And embrace your uniqueness – it’s not weird, it’s hot and you can play with it.
