I'm Hekate — a psychologist and professional domina in Berlin, specialised in impact play. For me pain, approached with a feminine touch, is a gateway into deeper altered states of consciousness, a deeper layer of your individuality and soul.

I hold a PhD in the brain biochemistry of habit and addiction, and I've trained in hypnosis. But most of what I know about altered states, I learned by chasing them myself — holotropic breathing, hypnosis, ecstatic dance, runner's high, tantra and impact play. I understand the pain high from both sides: the research and the lived experience - I am a masochist as well as a sadist in the world of BDSM.
