I am a Shibari artist devoted to the art of connection through rope. I create spaces where rope is a language of trust, presence, and self expression. For me, Shibari is a way of asking questions through the body and receiving answers through sensation.

When I tie, I am interested in the alchemy of energy between bodies: the subtle shifts in breath, the emotional landscapes that surface, and the attunement that surrender brings.
My style is rooted in connection before any technique. And this type of exploring with ropes awakens pleasure, play, and creativity.

It's an honor to guide women, men and couples into this art with gentleness and depth, balancing the beauty of form with the freedom of expression, always acknowledging the sacredness of the rope journey. Each tie is a sacred ritual for vulnerability, release and transformating to occur.

What makes your approach different?
While you will learn rope techniques, my approach to Shibari goes far beyond knots, patterns, and positions. I teach Shibari as a language and ritual of connection. Technical skills are important, but they are woven together with the relational and embodied aspects that make Shibari such a transformative practice. In my classes, students are encouraged to develop not only their skills, but also their ability to communicate clearly, listen deeply, adapt creatively and cultivate meaningful connection.
Do I need any experience with Shibari?
None at all. My experiences are designed for all levels — complete beginners to those with exposure to Shibari. What matters is not experience, but curiosity, openness, and a willingness to explore your relationship with yourself, others, and the art of conscious rope.
Who are your retreats designed for?
Bound to Nature retreats are designed for those who feel called to explore themselves more deeply through embodiment, connection, nature, and the transformative art of Shibari. These experiences are for individuals seeking more than a vacation or a traditional wellness retreat. They are for those who desire a space to slow down, reconnect with their bodies, cultivate self-trust, express themselves authentically, and step beyond the limitations of their comfort zones. No previous Shibari experience is required. Participants come from diverse backgrounds and life experiences, united by a shared intention for conscious exploration. There are currently two retreat formats available: Women's Bound to Nature, created exclusively for women seeking a space for self-discovery, empowerment, and personal transformation; and Blended Bound to Nature, open to couples, friends, and individuals of all genders who wish to explore connection, communication, trust, and conscious rope together.
What makes Bound to Nature retreats unique?
Bound to Nature is more than your typical Shibari retreat. What makes these retreats unique is the way Shibari is approached. Rather than focusing solely on technique education, Bound to Nature uses rope as a tool for authentic human connection and creativity. The experience is designed to help participants explore not only their relationship with rope, but also their relationship with themselves, others, and the natural world around them. Set in some of Costa Rica's most breathtaking natural environments, each retreat blends immersive Shibari experiences with adventure, reflection, community, and nature-based exploration. Whether sharing stories beneath the stars, standing beneath a waterfall, tying among the trees, or witnessing your own reflection in each other, every element is intentionally woven together to create a meaningful and memorable journey.
