Curious about working together but not quite sure what a Somatic Sexology session involves?

This is a short, informal conversation for us to meet, talk about what has brought you here, and see whether the way I work feels like a good fit for what you'd like to explore.

During our call, we can:

Explore what's bringing you here.

You can tell me a little about what you're currently experiencing or curious about, whether that involves intimacy, desire, relationships, jealousy, boundaries, receiving, performance anxiety, or something else entirely.

Talk about how I work.

I'll explain how I use conversation, body-based practices and somatic exploration, and you can ask anything you need to know about working with me.

See whether it feels like a fit.

There's no expectation to book anything afterwards. If we both feel that working together makes sense, we can talk about what a first session might look like.

My practice is non-touch-based and consent-led. You are always in charge of your body and your participation, including what you share, which practices you explore, and when you want to pause, adapt or stop.

You don't need to prepare anything. Come as you are, with whatever is bringing you here.

Other ways to work with Emma Alwyn

From £90 · Service · Online Desire, Arousal & Pleasure. 1:1 Coaching Session Many of us have complicated relationships with desire.Perhaps sex has become something you perform rather than experience. Perhaps pleasure feels distant. Perhaps your body isn't responding in the way you would like. Perhaps you're no longer sure what you want, what turns you on, or whether you are even allowed to want it.For some people this shows up as erectile difficulties, challenges with arousal, difficulty reaching orgasm, performance anxiety or a loss of sexual confidence. For others it appears more quietly: disconnection, numbness, uncertainty, obligation or a lingering sense that something is missing. In this session, we'll move beyond the question of what your body should be doing and become curious about what it is actually communicating. We might explore:• Tracking sensation, pleasure and arousal in real time.• Listening for what sits beneath numbness, pressure, uncertainty or obligation.• What your body knows that your mind may have overlooked.• Sexual stories, expectations and conditioning that no longer fit.• Developing a deeper relationship with your body's yes, no and not yet.My practice is non-touch-based and consent-led. I do not touch you. Some practices may invite you to explore touch on your own body, but you remain in charge throughout. I offer questions, practices and possibilities; you decide what you want to explore, adapt, pause or stop.Online | 90 minutes Desire, Arousal & Pleasure. 1:1 Coaching Session From £90 · Service · Online Boundaries: Finding Your Yes and No. 1:1 Coaching Session Boundaries: Finding Your Yes and NoBefore we can communicate a boundary, we need to notice it.Sometimes the mind says yes while the body is pulling away. Sometimes we know something doesn't feel right but can't quite find the words. Sometimes we notice our boundary only afterwards, when irritation, exhaustion or resentment arrives.Somatic exploration gives us an opportunity to slow that process down.Rather than beginning with what you should say to another person, we'll begin with you: your sensations, impulses, wants, limits, and the subtle ways your body communicates yes, no, maybe, more, less, stop or not yet.We might explore:Your embodied yes and no. Becoming more familiar with the physical sensations that accompany wanting, not wanting and uncertainty. What happens around a boundary. Perhaps you freeze, override yourself, accommodate someone else, become unsure of what you want, or find it difficult to stay connected to yourself when another person's needs enter the room.Wanting and asking. Exploring not only what you don't want, but your capacity to recognise and communicate what you do want.Staying with the response. What happens in your body when someone is disappointed, disagrees, says no to you, or has a boundary of their own? This isn't about becoming better at saying no or learning the "right" way to communicate. It's about developing a deeper relationship with your own signals, so your boundaries can emerge from a clearer sense of what is happening for you.My practice is non-touch-based and consent-led. Some practices may invite you to explore touch on your own body, but you remain in charge throughout. I offer questions, practices and possibilities; you choose what you want to explore and can adapt, pause or stop at any time.Online | 90 minutes Boundaries: Finding Your Yes and No. 1:1 Coaching Session From £90 · Service · Online Embodied Jealousy 1:1 Coaching Session Embodied JealousyWhat happens if, instead of trying to get rid of jealousy, we become curious about it?Jealousy can be an incredibly physical experience. A tightening across the chest. Heat. A hollow feeling in the stomach. An urge to withdraw, cling, compare, control or seek reassurance. In this session, we slow things down.Rather than deciding in advance what your jealousy means, we'll explore the sensations, responses and information underneath the story.Perhaps jealousy leads us towards a fear of losing someone. A longing for reassurance. A boundary that needs attention. An earlier relational experience. Something you deeply want. Or perhaps your body is communicating something we haven't named yet.We might explore:How jealousy lives in your body, where you feel it, how it moves and what happens when you stay with the sensation. What sits underneath it, using embodied practices and gentle enquiry without assuming what we're going to find. What you need and want, exploring boundaries, reassurance, attachment, autonomy, desire or whatever emerges for you.How you want to respond, creating enough space between activation and action for more choice to become possible.I became particularly interested in jealousy through Relationship Anarchy and Consensual Non-Monogamy, but this work isn't only for people in non-monogamous relationships. Jealousy can appear in any relationship structure. My practice is non-touch-based and consent-led. I do not touch you. Some practices may invite you to explore touch on your own body, but you remain in charge throughout. I offer questions, practices and possibilities; you decide what you want to explore, adapt, pause or stop.Online | 90 minutes Embodied Jealousy 1:1 Coaching Session
